Pool Construction from Whitewaters

There are many ways to construct a swimming pool, that suit different design criteria, site conditions and budgets.

At Whitewaters, we use three main methods:

Concrete Pools -A Reinforced concrete pool is the strongest form of pool construction and offers the highest degree in terms of design, size, shape and finishes. The concrete can be formed using sacrificial timber shuttering, permanent blockwork shuttering or can even be ‘sprayed’ into place. The method used will be chosen to best suit the specific pools design and site condition. Once formed the concrete is insulted, waterproofed and finished with tiles or an alternative decorative coating.

Panel Pools – This method uses modular panels that are bolted together on-site to form the pool walls. The panels can be made of steel, fibreglass, or insulated boards, depending on the design requirements of the project. The pool is then finished internally with a vinyl lining.

Morton Finished Pool

One piece pool section – This is the fastest way to install the pool. The pool is delivered to site in it’s finished form and dropped into position by crane, fork lift or hiab. Pre-formed pools are available in a wide variety of shapes and sizes, and the internal finish is normally acrylic.
